 Medical Desk Partitions

Medical desk partitions utilize the same finishes that are used throughout healthcare centres and patient workspaces. Even when working in a medical office, the right materials are needed to ensure you have some hold over the spread of germs and bacteria.

Desk dividers offer a compact version of the free standing medical screen. Providing the area with coverage, easy clean materials and a finish that is acceptable for any medical space. Even in an office space, medical professionals are able to keep the space clean and sterile, working within healthcare guidelines.

White gloss laminate, acrylic and anti-bacterial fabrics are our materials of choice. Expertly divide open plan desk areas with materials that are easy to clean and keep sterility at the forefront of the design. Sitting across the back and sides of the desk, full shielding transforms each desk into an individual working area.

Materials and finishes suitable for medical use

White gloss laminate

Manufactured with HPL (high pressure laminate), the white gloss finish is easy to clean. As sanitization is a large part of the healthcare screening, the laminate is a strong choice for this environment.

Able to accept spray cleaners and anti-bacterial sprays for a deep clean, cutting through germs and grime build up.

Whilst easy to clean, the laminate has another use. When paired with dry wipe pens, the partition can be used as a white board. The double sided panels feature the laminate on both sides, maximizing use across 2 desktops.

Acrylic

Clear and frosted acrylic are the ideal choice when looking for protection. Regardless of the visibility, Perspex shields any area with subtlety.

Clear perspex is fully transparent and won’t restrict the field of vision. Clear desktop partitions can be useful when partitioned desks are needed but communication is still a big part of the office space.

For division and higher privacy, frosted acrylic is the tool for the job. Blocking out the space, yet allowing for natural light.

Anti-bacterial fabric

Unlike other fabrics, the anti-bacterial fabric has been pre-treated with a sanitized technology.

What does this mean for the Safeguard screens? The treated material won’t support the growth of germs and bacteria, and that’s without the use of any anti-bacterial cleaners. Infact, little maintenance is needed and each section should be cleaned with warm, soapy water.

Resistant to blood and urine, the anti-bac fabric is ultimate choice for the medical environment.

Select from a wide range of fabric colours with a faux leather appearance.

Why choose desktop dividers?

Office desk dividers are an alternative option to free standing screens and provide a more focused approach. Rather than looking at the floor space, the only space needed is the desktop.

Making changes to the office on a desktop basis means floorspace isn’t used, and allows single desktops to be set up for individual working. Create barriers that fully enclose the space or add sheer coverage based on the placement and height options of the divider.

Position across the back and add the sides to comfortably make single work zones with easy clean benefits.

Installation options

The free of charge drill through clamps are provided as part of the kit. Requiring a drill and the understanding that desk screens will be added on a permanent basis.

Alternatively, the upgrade easy fix clamps are quick to fix, require no tools and can be moved or repositioned without changes to the desktop. Upgrade to easy fix attachments on the product page.

Other screen styles and free standing desk screens have different feet and fixings.

Clamp tip: Measure the thickness of the desk to ensure the right size of clamps are selected.
