Types of screening for the healthcare sector

Free standing medical screens

Our freestanding healthcare screening shows a mixture of full, half and vision top combinations.

Manufactured with a combination of wipeable materials, the vision screens provide varying levels of shielding. Using an acrylic top panel and a white gloss laminate base, the easy clean materials are available in different dimension for different purposes.

The full vision shows an almost full acrylic screen, with a smaller laminate base. Our half vision is a 50/50 split, offering the same about of visibility as coverage. And finally, the vision top is largely a gloss panel with a 480mm acrylic window at the top.

All variations are encased in a white, black or silver powder coated aluminum frame which is also used to link various panels together.

For customization, add a printed logo on to the frosted or clear sections.

Medical desk partitions

Frame open desk spaces with Medical Desk Partitions.

Acrylic desk screens are for shielding and division, and in a healthcare setting have the benefit of being sanitized. Clear desk screens add protection at a reception, help with distractions in the office and in general, add a subtle partition around the back and sides of the desk.

Clear acrylic is transparent. So you’ll receive the protection without compromising on the field of vision. If reducing visibility is important, the frosted acrylic shows a high opacity adding medium privacy levels evels across a bank of desks.

Position the desk partitions as part of a medical office, testing lab or as a protective measure for a reception.

Clear and frosted acrylic – which options best?

Clear acrylic is transparent and is a shielding method and won’t assist with patient privacy. Acting as a viewing window to keep the field of vision the same. This finish is best used when dividing seating and waiting areas, adding to the reception and creating a subtle barrier.

Frosted acrylic adds medium privacy as the frosted affect has a higher opacity against the clear. The area will be blocked from view, yet you’ll see shadows and shapes without giving too much away.

How to clean laminate and perspex screening

As an easy clean surface, acrylic screens can be maintained with ease. To clean the panels, sprays and anti-bacterial cleaners do the job. With a cloth and gentle spray, the surfaces can be cleaned on a regular basis to keep on top of the maintenance.
