 Free Standing Medical Screens

Freestanding medical screens are designed for long term use across open plan medical spaces. Supplied with stability feet, the screening can be placed into any area without any safety concerns. The stability feet have a raised profile to achieve the trip and wheelchair friendly finish.

Partitions that are suitable for a healthcare setting have a universal requirement. Suitable designs should have an easy clean finish to limit the chance of germs and bacteria spreading. Laminate, acrylic and treated fabric are available options to ensure the medical space is safe and sterile.

Offering easy clean and anti-bacterial materials, the collection of screens thrive in the setting and support NHS staff in a busy, ever changing environment.

Which materials have Rap Office Screens used?

White high gloss laminate is one of the easiest surfaces to clean. Due to the REACH compliance and high quality design, the laminate can withstand regular and thorough cleaning. Use medical grade cleaners and anti-bacterial spray between use for the ultimate clean.

What’s more, dry wipe pens can be used to activate the whiteboard feature.

Acrylics are the ideal protective option, as not only will this keep patients at a distance but the panel is easy to clean. When opting for clear acrylic, protection and full field of vision are ipossible.

In some instances, we’ve paired the laminate and acrylic together to form a split screen, to address more than one concern.

For a different approach, the anti-bacterial screens are upholstered in a treated fabric. The treated fabric uses a sanitized technology, has a faux leather texture and has a fantastic selection of colours.

Adding bold colours to a white, clinical space has the potential to lessen the unease of a hospital or medical centre. The colourful anti-bacterial fabric looks great and has the power to halt the growth of germs and bacteria. As the screen has the anti-bacterial attribute, minimal cleaning is needed.

Patient privacy screens

In addition to providing the room with an easy to clean panel, the laminate and anti-bacterial screens are ideal for patient privacy. In treatment and consultation rooms, adding a layer of privacy can help patients feel comfortable and give shielding when the time calls for it.

Install the screen as a free standing feature, giving the similar effect as a curtain but with the ability to clean after each use.

How to cover larger areas of space

Even when vast areas need to be partitioned, the linking design of each panel allows for this. Using the flexible link strip will provide a secure connect to the next panel, resulting in a seamless panel layout.

For a connection of more partitions, 3 and 4 way link strips are available. The 3 way link strip can be used to form a ‘T’ shape and the 4 way link strip to form a ‘+’ shape. Due to the flexibility 90 degree angles are witihin reach and increase the possible panel format.
