 Acoustic Desk Pods

Office desk pods form a partitioned space that comfortably fit a workstation, seating and even storage. Using high quality acoustic and acrylic panels to create a number of different booths suitable for independent working.

Desk pods use free standing office partitions to frame a desk space, creating a office, but on a smaller basis. Within this space, you’ll have everything you need to comfortably work, whilst gaining some added benefits.

Acoustic office partitions are a popular way to reduce office noise. Office noise is a common workplace complaint, as overtime this can affect the atmosphere and how we work. Implementing acoustic foam into the work space takes a step in the right direction to reduce noise, thus reducing distractions.

The panels work as noise support as well as a barrier. Increasing privacy in the remote working areas contributes to higher concentration and continues to limit the amount of distractions.

Learn more about cluster desk pods

We’ve created variety of cluster desk pods, which means having various single pods that are connected together to create multiple working areas.

Each space is individual, but you might find yourself in a 2, 3 or 4 cluster. The placement of the screens ensures each room has noise support and shielding from those working around you. The collection of acoustic pods are constructed with a range of different screening for alternate looks, shapes and effects on the space.

Acoustic and acrylic panels

Acoustic office partitions are manufactured with solid core, acoustic foam and a fabric colour of choice. The main purpose is to combat noise, but the design is also an important element.

The ranges offer either 12mm foam or 24mm foam, if you’re looking for a higher level of support. Acoustic foam is the main component for noise absorption, capturing soundwaves to make a positive impact on the space.

Adding the final layer of fabric definitely helps with noise, but is a way to make the partition compatible with your space. Choose from a wide range of fabric colours to brighten the space, making all elements cohesive and complimentary.

In the areas where acrylic panels have been added, what does this mean for the pod? In areas, the acoustic support can be lowered but the acrylic section brings new benefits. Clear Perspex adds a window like feature, for visibility and light purposes.

But if increasing visibility isn’t important, the frosted acrylic is a wise choice. Frosted acrylic shields the space without shutting out light.

Self build office pods

Our pods feature a simple installation process, requiring little tools and minimal time.

Our Concept, Morton and Budget dividers have a built in linking features. Link all relevant partition screens with the supplied linking strip to easily create the individual acoustic office pods. Reposition the panels to accommodate the desk in the best way.

The Nova Office Cubicle is a non linking design. The cubicle can be made in any configuration by placing each screen edge to edge for a seamless finish.
